It’s difficult for me to trust anyone. I can be friendly, but I'm always looking for an ulterior motive within people. Maybe that's why I'm kind of a cynic. 

To be honest, I'm not a cynic. Not really. Yeah, I believe the world is selfish and cruel. But a small part of me still believes, with all my heart, that things will get better. That's my INFP side of my talking. I wish it would just shut up and let me be cynical. 

I can read anywhere. I can easily pull out a book and start reading. Except when I'm listening to music. I can't listen to music and read at the same time. It's distracting. 

To be honest, I'm scared of trusting people. I've been hurt so many times in the past, I just can't think of what will happen if I get hurt again. I think, the next time someone hurts me, I'll just shut down for good. 

Writing calms me down. If I can't trust the people in real life, I can at least trust the people in my stories. They're the ones who were there when no one else was.
