Aprati Mocati assorted hard candy has two grams of sugar per piece and has no artificial colors. They're made from cleaner ingredients. I find the name "Aprati", a term derived from Sanskrit meaning irresistible to be clever and appropriate. The flavors are mocha mint, espresso, and caramel macchiato. I did taste test each piece, if you don't chomp into the little candy, you can expect to enjoy your coffee flavored treat for approximately nine minutes. Personally, I love hard candy. This one in particular is near and dear to my heart just because it's coffee flavored. It's not what you think. Yes I love coffee. However, I love hard, coffee candy specifically because my dad always brought a bag on road trips. We took a lot of road trips when I was young. My dad shared a lot of things with us like his sense of adventure and his love of these little, hard coffee candy. The Carmel macchiato in this assortment takes me back to a simpler time when I looked forward to the weekend, school breaks, summer and taking road trips with my family with my dad smiling at the wheel. Caramel macchiato is my favorite flavor. Although, I'll admit these days my daughter Alyssah and I are more mocha mint travelers. They remind me of coffee and mini thin mints in the center console of my daughter's first car on that turn just before the University. If my sister Krissy is reading this I'm sure she's laughing; but, that's a story for another day. That's the great thing about candy. When you have a piece, you have an experience and perhaps some memories as well. We loved Aprati Mocati. I just checked out their website. They're reasonably priced with free shipping.
