Zhanna learned through some of her B-girls about a handful of people with deep pockets who’d be in attendance at the event. Naturally, she’d decided to turn a charity event into a way to make money for herself. Five people were contacted and four agreed to an online bidding war over who got to spend the rest of the night after the event with the “Blue Lady.” A simple game and an easy way to make money, and she left the technical aspects of encrypted chatrooms and money transfers up to a more computer savvy member of the organization to figure out.Â
Obviously it wouldn’t really be her they met at the end of the night, but it was unlikely they’d even recognize her without the signature blonde hair and her face covered. She’d even gotten blue and silver acrylics to cover her pointed nails always painted a specific pink color.Â
Needless to say, the prospect of being unrecognizable to most was a treat to her all on its own. But now some questions: what accent to use? what story? Let’s say tonight her name was Isabel and she was from just outside Madrid.
“Perdóneme,” she said as she stepped around someone to get closer to the bar. “A glass of cabernet, please.”
