Stop fighting technology and start using it to teach!
Many of us spend too much time worrying how to get students to pay attention to us instead of their mobile devices. Now that so many resources are available online it makes sense that students should use them to fact check and extend the learning. The challenge is balance. How do we (educators) integrate technology into our teaching without overwhelming them (students)? There are several methods that have proven successful, one of which is the "digital exit ticket". Here the student demonstrates their understanding of the material in the course through a simple assessment at the end of the class.
