Shapes! Control Points! Visio Export! Flowcharts!!
We've just released the biggest update ever to Coggle. Keeping things simple and beautiful has always been at the heart of what we do, and now we're bringing the same ideas to the world of flow-charts!
Flowcharts are all about shapes. The new shape menu allows you to set a flowchart shape on any item in a diagram. Basic shapes are available to everyone, for free, with more advanced shapes in our paid plans:
We've also made creating multiple root items in a diagram available for free, and joining branches together to make loops is now also free. These are important tools for creating flowcharts, and we want everyone to be able to create beautiful flowcharts with Coggle!
For more advanced diagrams we know it's sometimes useful to change the paths of connections. That's why our Awesome plan now includes control points to adjust the paths of lines.
Drag the new control points to adjust the line, or click a control point you've added to remove it:
And there's more! We've also added the options to use straight connections between items, and to adjust the alignment of the text to the Awesome plan:
As you might have noticed, we've also introduced a snappy and stylish new menu. The menu adapts to the performance of your computer, with a beautiful glass-effect background in supported browsers.
