Daisuga- they never really considered marriage as an option out loud at first as they’re both very comfortable in their current relationship, but it’s suga that starts dropping hints that he’d like to get married. he’s too embarrassed and worried that daichi won’t like the idea to say anything directly, but daichi doesn’t really get the hints straight away. when he does figure it out he asks suga about his opinion on marriage and even though no on proposes, they come to an agreement that they’d like to get married. it’s a few months later when daichi finally does propose and ofc suga gives him an enthusiastic yes

Iwaoi- oikawa is the first to approach the marriage subject by actually proposing on night in bed. sort of a “you know, iwa-chan, we’re already sort of married and we’ve been acting like an old married couple since we were young, why don’t we actually do it?” “do what?” “get married?” iwa is a little taken aback at first, both by the idea that oikawa wants to get married and that he’s suggesting it in bed late at night. he says yes too, but in a more standoffish way that oikawa knows that it means he’s more embarrassed than grumpy. oikawa starts planning right away, like seconds after until iwa tells him to shut up and go to sleep, but there are lots of hugs and cuddles following.

Kiyoyachi- yachi is def the one that proposes, she’s a nervous wreck before hand because what if kiyoko doesn’t want to get married??? (even though they had already talked about it early on in the relationship) what if she doesn’t like the ring?? what if yachi throws up on her?? so she goes in a little ball of anxiety and nervously proposes, blushing red the entire time, and kiyoko starts to tear up and yachi’s anxiety spikes until kiyoko says of course she’d marry her and there’s tears and crying and kisses and it’s just cute

Bokuaka- akaashi decides he’s going to propose a little early on for most couples, but he thinks bokuto won’t mind since they’ve been serious since high school and he knows that bokuto wants to get married at some point because he’s mentioned it once or twice and pointed out several married couples that he’s deemed as “cute” but the real problem is how akaashi is going to it. so he starts planning this big romantic thing that bokuto’s going to love, but it instead gets ruined when bokuto accidentally finds the ring and instead of thinking up an excuse akaashi blurts out a proposal. bokuto just stares for a moment, mind catching up what what happened before he picks up akaashi shouting that of course they’d get married and just yelling and akaashi is a relieved, blushing mess. they get a noise complaint from the neighbors the next day

Kagehina- marriage defiantly doesn’t occur to them until after they win the olympics (they have to in my head) and settle down with their lives. neither one really proposes (because honestly it would be a mess if they tried) and instead agree on it after discussion their future. like after they decide to live together permanently one of them says “you idiot, that sounds like we’re married.” “aren’t we kind of?” “what? i mean… i guess.” “should we… get married for real then?” “i think so?” they’re just clueless idiots about the whole thing  

Tsukkiyama- tsukishima proposes at a family dinner one night away from everyone else, probably up in his old room because that’s where he and yamaguchi hung out a lot as kids. he’d say some sappy speech because he knows he’s not good at that kind of stuff, but it means a lot to yamaguchi so he feels he has to. yamaguchi is kind of oblivious at first to what’s going on since he can’t imagine tsukki actually wanting to marry him (he’s honestly surprised they’re still dating) and when tsukki manages to force the words out yams is shocked. he doesn’t say yes right away, asking for a moment to think about it (why does tsukki want to marry him? will he mess it up? could they stay together forever? insecure stuff like that) and tsukki goes back downstairs to give yams time to think. an hour later tsukki is sulking and yams comes down and loudly says “yes i will marry you” to which tsukki is stunned and the whole family finds out about the engagement 

Asanoya- asahi brings up marriage to noya during a friend’s wedding (probs kiyoyachi or bokuaka) but doesn’t really phrase it as a proposal. of course noya responds as if it is and says “yes, we should get married right away.” he then points to the minister and says “you think he’ll do it?” and asahi blushes like crazy (they get married right away soon after)
