M/M (Paris) (GGG Books 87)⁣ Available at www.draw-down.com ⁣ ⁣ From the revered Designers series of the Ginza Graphic Gallery (ggg) in Tokyo, this volume focuses on the posters that M/M (Paris) produced for the Théâtre de Lorient from 1996 to 2008. The fifty posters featured in the book all follow the same graphic rules: a color photograph with a black and white graphic title. Rather than being literal illustrations of the play, the designs stand as propositions for an alternative mise en scéne, imagined in a tiny town in Brittany. The collection acts now as a mirror on both the career and lives of the art and design partnership that is M/M (Paris).
