Sam why would you tease us with bi4bi abelute like this...
obviously I'm joking here and like the implication may just be that:
a) Abel is supporting Lute coming out as Bi and
b) He thinks she's tearing up her Bi flag to share with others, not necessarily him, and he just thinks that's very niceys of her :)
Regardless imagining this interaction is hilarious and it's very sweet (if also a bit dumb and naive) to imagine Abel trying to be supportive and seeing the best in Lute and her actions even when she's lashing out.
I also can't help but make a comparison between Lute breaking Adam's guitar (she herself is named after an instrument that is a prototype for guitars) and Lute ripping the Bi flag (she is likely a repressed bisexual), and ofc her fixation with killing Vaggi (who is her narrative foil, a mirror of herself) as a means of showing Lute hurting aspects of herself as she's lashing out, how much she hates herself and sees herself as broken and worthless.
But Abel wanted the guitar Lute breaks. He stops her from killing Vaggi (in the process stopping Lute from killing herself, as Vaggi and Lute say "everybody dies if we don't do this/"and so be it!", a nice parallel to Vox not caring if the Might of Lilith blows up and he dies along with everyone, "so long as I wipe that smirk off Alastor's face, I don't care what happens"). And even if she destroys her own bi flag, he says it's great because now they have two flags. Something about still seeing the worth and beauty in what is broken. Even if it's different, even if it's flawed, even if it's not whole. And Abel seeing that in Lute, too.
am I reading too much into a tweet? Oh 100%. but I'll take whatever abelute crumbs I can please and thank you
