thinking about all the people kenjaku had likely used as vessels and most definitely in earlier time periods there was a lot of body swapping to find a desirable vessel that met both the needs of power (physical) and power (status)

#definitely tried to get into the big 3 clans. succeeded at points and failed in others #but to get close had to swap bodies 3-5 times. mysterious deaths and mysterious corpses missing brains #mmmm.#in my own lore they didn't get into the inumaki or gojō clans because they couldn't get close enough. or missed vital opportunities #perhaps the bodies or commoners residing in the same lands/towns/villages occupied by the clans #but not close enough to the clans themselves. do you get me #i think if they had tried to reach the inumaki in the heian period it would have been to try and inhabit sukeyasu's younger brother #(sukehiro) possibly could be what the assassination attempt on his life was for. if they had assumed the body of someone who cared for the #inumaki clan's deceased. do you feel me. it's all strategic #alas that didn't work and extra measures were taken from that point on and it just wasn't worth it to continue pursuing it #when there was other fish to fry.#pondering....thinking....writing..... stuck in ps.....
