#mmmay18 day 31, last day. Thoughts... I managed to wear me made every day, until I went away on a last minute weekend, but other than that. I wore a lot of dresses and skirts, an odd blouse/ top. All of which I knew. What I enjoyed: looking at everyone else's me mades and getting lots of inspiration. What I didn't: trying to get decent pictures everyday. But I do love to make clothes and see what everyone else makes. Whenever the sun is shining I have the dilemma of whether to go outside and enjoy the sun or do some sewing, so why not take my sewing machine out into the sunshine?! Best of both worlds. Trying out my first handmade T-Shirt! 😎👌🏻 I’ve been really inspired by all of the ‘Me Made May’ photos flooding my feed this month, so I thought I’d get in on the action! I sewed this stretch jersey T-Shirt using my @singersewinguk machine and some fabric offcuts from the company I work at. It’s my first try at making my own clothes - I think it came out pretty well! #mmm18 Day 6. Like summer here even though it's only the first May bank holiday. So wearing a me made skirt. This has an elastic waist, bow pockets and wooden buttons down the front. I made it with a lovely fabric I picked up at the knitting and stitching show last year. It is one of my favourite summer skirts now, comfy, but pretty. I'm wearing with a jersey fabric white blouse, bought online and these cute sandals, covered in daisies.
