#MLBStrikeZone Wieters walks off former team in late Nationals comeback Matt Wieters has had a pretty good first series against his old team, going 5-for-13 over the first three games of a four-game home-and-home set. He saved the best for last on Wednesday. Down by two runs in the ninth inning, the Washington Nationals got a solo shot from Jayson Werth before loading the bases for Wieters, who promptly singled to center field, spoiling what looked like a sure win for the Baltimore Orioles. The comeback stopped the Orioles' six-game winning streak, while also putting a halt to the Nats' three-game slide.
