With a new logo and fresh new look we are looking for new scarves for the 2017 season! Make your mark on the Chicago Red Stars and design a scarf that will be seen by everyone! Share your design on Twitter and Instagram with #MKOTScarf.
Below is all the necessary information and templates to create and design a scarf for the Red Stars! Simply click the link and the files will download onto your computer. Send all scarf entries to Justyne Freud ([email protected]) and Julie Rochelle ([email protected]).
Have you ever wanted to be even more involved with the Red Stars? This is your opportunity to create the first scarf 2017 official scarf of the Chicago Red Stars. Enter the scarf design contest and show us your best work and creativity that will be seen around the state!
-The dimensions are 7 inches wide by 63 inches long (see provided template)
-Use up to four colors
-May include text, but must include the Red Stars crest
-Submitted designs must include both a front and back design of the scarf to be considered
-Vector-based designs (i.e. Creative Suites) are ideal, however .JPG or .PNG files will also be accepted (must be computer based, no drawings)
-All designs must be your own original, unpublished work
Submissions will be accepted starting today until Monday, February 20 at 5:00 p.m. CT.
Chicago Red Stars players and staff will select six options, in which fans will be allowed to vote for their favorite.
The scarf designs will be judged on the following criteria: creativity, originality, best representation of Chicago Red Stars.
Those who vote in the scarf design contest will be entered in a drawing, and there will be three overall winners chosen at random. Prize will be a Red Stars package and 2 of your designed scarves.
Winner will be announced on Tuesday, February 28. By entering the competition, you agree that your submission is your own work. By submitting your design, you grant permission of your design to be use by the Chicago Red Stars.
All fans must submit their design to [email protected] and [email protected]. Fans are also encouraged to post their submission to social media using the hashtag #MKOTScarf.

Hello people,
Been a while. So basically #D17P did a design contest for the Chicago Red Stars and look... We are trying to get a dub. Check the the designs and retweet to show your support. This contest has been a lot to work on winning would be epic in terms of showing what can be created at D17P. I know for myself, showing the world I can actually make some dope stuff. This isn’t just a hobby. It is a lifestyle. Doing this project really helped in showing the city of Chicago and representing the Red Stars. Gaining insight from streetwear, the Bulls, Chicago culture, and how to connect with the people of the Chi. Doing graphic arts is always a challenge in being able to communicate visually, but these scarves speak to Chicago from the computer of a Maryland kid. Hopefully Chance, DWade, Press, or any of the Cubs/Blackhawks see these.
