The Good Old Alma Mater
Linh asked me to make a cake for Mark Keppel's end of the year faculty luncheon. She wanted to make sure the cake included all the departments at the high school. Once she asked, I knew I couldn't say no! Most people would say that college was the best 4 years of their life, but sometimes I think high school was so much better! Don't get me wrong, I loved everything about Davis, the city, the people, uhhh... the classes... but high school was such innocent fun! Going to all the sports games, dances, being apart of YMCA clubs, going to socials, doing hours of community services, going to all the haunted places at midnight, definitely made some pretty great memories!
Back to the cake! We kept it simple and found a way to include school pride and all the departments in the school, just like she wanted!
Great... this post just reminded me we have our reunion next year!! YIKES!
