❝Things are pretty hectic here, aren’t they?❞ She said to the other, a smile upon her face as she did so. She wasn’t meaning it in a bad way, it was always nice to see everyone getting along like this.

Aversa just smirked. "Oh my..."
Winks at her.
“Enjoyin’ the view?”
Eirika gasped, hand reflexively flying to her hilt at the sight of him. "L... Lyon...?" she asked tentatively. "Is it... really you...?" She didn't think the demon could follow them here, but she had been wrong about such things before. After General Valter had been summoned, she knew everything else was fair game. She searched his face for any sign of degradation that spelled the demon's return.
⚝
The sight of her causes him to stop. Everything Lyon is holds its breath in her presence. …He wanted to avoid this. He had been content to keep to shadow, remain only on the fringes of this Order of Heroes, only taking orders, never meeting any one new. He sees the way her hand reaches for her sword, and his throat tightens. Half of him wants her to kill him, again, because it was beautiful the first time, but the other half wishes to see her smile again…
How can he answer?? There was always a demon inside of him.
❝ Eirika… ❞ his reply comes out choked, tight and airy. It feels as though he’s suffocating. He wishes he could assure her he’s fine, but his guilt prevents him, even if it wouldn’t be a lie.
Lyon’s hands fold over his heart, clenching tightly at his robes, balling fabric into fists. It hurts – everything hurts. Eirika shouldn’t have to look upon a wretch such as him, after everything he’s done.
❝ I… I-I… ❞
He can’t answer her, he bursts into tears before that, bowing his head and shrinking into his robes. His shoulders shake with sobbing he can’t stifle. His voice struggles to piece together a coherent sentence. Between his garbled babbling, he only manages to tell her:
❝ I’m sorry!! ❞

It was another peaceful late afternoon at the Castle of Askr, as there were no signal of any enemy attacks heroes spent their time resting, training, hanging out or simply reading in the castle’s library and Aidan was doing the latter, well sort of, he came there with the intention of reading a book, it’s just that he hasn’t found one of his interest yet; was looking specifically for a fighting manual but an adventure novel would also do.
“Hmm, there should be something here...”
He started walking between the bookshelves to find it, this would not be an easy quest however, as the library was quite big, yet he didn’t let himself get overwhelmed by its size and kept going. Minutes went on and Aidan tried reading at the books’ spines looking for something related to fighting but to no avail.
“Cooking, magic, math, cooking, alchemy, cooking, diplomacy, medicine, botanics, cookin- why are there so many books about cooking?”
The minutes turned into hours and it started getting dark, Aidan had little time as he didn’t bring a torch or a candle with him so he’s got to be quick, yet the time he spent wandering through the shelves made him realize he lost the notion of where he was.
“Agh, I’ve got to find something or someone soon, or else I’ll get lost in here for all night... Hello? Is there someone around here?
"Somnium!" Sharena giggled, holding something behind her back coyly. "I have something for yoooou! Close your eyes so I can hand it to you, okay?"

--- It’d been quite a while since Sharena had spoken to him. He’d been recuperating eversince surtr’s downfall, not only physically but mentally as well. Though the burns were merely scars, the nights where he’d awaken in a cold sweat from reliving his first and last encounter with the king had plagued him for months. He’d been isolated for a while, only going out to check on various heroes and villains he’d recruited for Askr or getting a check up in the medical bay -- but, as of late, he’d made a change in his schedule.
It looked as if he’d been getting better, and even more so, grown a change for himself. He’d begun to partake in training and sparring with heroes, learning about various weapons and even learning to speak without using his all too damaged voice.
When he’d managed to show a scale of progress, he’d finally gone back to working on tactics within the library -- the place where he had once relaxed and felt at home with the prince and princess of the kingdom.
Sharena’s presence didn’t go unnoticed -- even as she grown closer, the summoner took to standing up, scarred fingers resting upon a cane he’d gotten crafted for himself. Short blonde locks shifted as mismatched hues fell upon the familiar miss, a calm demeaner showing on his features as she began to spoke.
A raise of the brow, and yet, he was obedient. It wasn’t every day that the young lady would ask such things of him, and he wasn’t the type to grow weary or unhappy with her. She was warm to him, even when they first met, so there was never a clash between the two.
“...” His expression relaxed as long blonde lashes fell over such crystalline hues. What was she up to? He was quite curious.

Sharena presented her brother with a large paper mache sculpture of a heart that read "Sorry For Spilling All of that Glitter On You!" in a fancy cursive script. She beamed at her brother and handed it over. "For the Day of Devotion! And to the best brother in the whoooole world! Thank you, Alfonse!"
Oh, he is still pretty peeved, but he bought his sister a gift. He handed her a book called ‘Design this Book’. “I asked Kiran to pick it up for you.”
Aversa paused for a long time before the girl, seeming to weigh her words carefully. "... Thank you for saving the world I sought to destroy. And giving me the chance at a new lease on life."
@mitspaeher
“Yes, Aversa?”
The two had already been standing there in silence for quite some time. The flier having stopped Lucina with the intent to speak - but had yet to do so. The princess waited patiently though, eventually deciding to give Aversa a nudge, hoping that would bring about some words from the other.
“O-oh!”
Once Aversa spoke, the younger girl was taken back. She hadn’t thought to be THANKED. Frankly, she didn’t believe she deserved it either. While she played a part in helping save the world from the plight of the Grimleal, she’d only been a messenger. A sign of what was to come if the past was not changed.
“You’re…you’re welcome? But perhaps you should direct these gratitudes to my father. He did just as much, if not more than me. But regardless of that, I’m glad you have had a change of heart.”
"..." Sharena always gets so frightened at the thought of bothering her father. Instead of alerting him to her presence, she instead left her homemade Day of Devotion card with one of his guards and tried to leave as quickly as possible.
it was his own doing that brought this hesitance , he understands that. But the effort was made and acknowledge with a slightly burned breakfast in bed , made by himself, not that the maid would say anything about it.
