Rebecca’s Café serves up new operating hours After receiving feedback from diners about its operating hours, Rebecca’s Late Night Café in the Pritchett Dining Hall within Walker Memorial (Building 50) is now open from 3 to 11 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Compass Group to manage new food and dining contract Following a two-year process that started with a review of existing dining data, a selection committee of students, faculty heads of house, and staff from the Division of Student Life (DSL) has selected Compass Group and its subsidiaries Bon Appétit and Restaurant Associates to take on the new, expanded contract for food and dining at MIT, which starts on July 1.

With MIT’s closure, availability of on-campus services tomorrow will be limited. Here’s how the storm will affect some popular services: House dining is offered at Baker House during IAP. Check Bon Appétit’s house dining website for hours, and to see what’s on the menu. Students who are not enrolled in the IAP meal plan can pay cash at the door. LaVerde's, Dunkin’ Donuts, Shawarma Shack, Subway, and Anna's Taqueria are expected to be open for their normal hours in the Student Center through the storm, though their services may be limited. Every attempt will be made to keep these vendors open, however it is possible that some may need to close due to circumstances beyond their control. Make sure to check the retail dining page for more information on all retail dining locations. Due to the Institute’s closure, all activities and events scheduled in facilities managed by the Campus Activities Complex have been cancelled. DAPER facilities are also closed tomorrow. Please check the MIT Recreation website for information on when they reopen. Also the City of Cambridge has declared a snow emergency, which entails a parking ban on many city streets starting at 4:00 pm today. Click here for details on the city’s parking restrictions.
