First prints came back from Spoonflower. And I have run into a few problems. One: they only print on one side, with the other side being white. Which means if I do ties, the white will show.
The bigger issue: I forgot the two most important rules for printing. 1) Everything you make digitally will print 75% darker than it is on your screen. 2) ALWAYS TEST SMALL SCALE BEFORE YOU BUY THE FINAL.
Currently, I'm planning on solving these problems by doing a sewn blanket instead of a tie one. I'm probably going to redo or update this project in the future because of...episode 111 and beyond spoilers. Plus, the back fabric turned out perfect. I will be updating the design to fit this format better. I am going to be reprinting the cover. Also, I’m not entirely happy with this fabric. I like the ‘fuzzier’ fleece fabric. But I have NO idea where to print that without it costing twice as much as this did. (Suggestions are more than welcome!)
I'm planning on using the misprint to make pillow cases by cutting out sections I like and piecing them back together.
