It did take much longer than I had anticipated. Partially because the stylists at Self are very good at their jobs, and if they think they can do better, they'll go back and tweak something.
Shipwash, you in particular will appreciate this: after the first go round, the color was a little too light, and the stylist wanted to go back and darken it. I think I may have triggered her by saying (not critically)
"Oh wow, I look like Michael Fassbender." (It sadly took me until now to realize that I was thinking of David from Prometheus.)
