I hope you remember that I was the one who mended your broken heart and that I was the one who stood up all night to take care of you the time you got drunk and your dad scolded you. The way I spent midnights awake just to make sure you got home safe. I hope you remember that I was the one who made you feel better about the days where all you wanted to do is hide under your sheets and cry – wondering why you weren’t good enough. And that I was the one who listened to you rant on and on about how you think you are a useless person. But I hope you know how I loved every bit of you and how I gave you multiple chances with open arms eventhough it was exhausting.
