Leonie sighed before she turned around. She was already running late, having had to navigate the tabloid reporters and nosey crowds that continually bombarded the police station doors, she was is a fowl mood and had no patience for yet another nosey gossip looking to stir trouble.
She bit down hard on her manners and attempted to remain polite if curt as she spun on her heel to look this stranger sharply in the eye.
The card caught her attention, and her eyes flicked coolly from Mckieās name card to her face. An /amateur/. This was just what she needed.
āI do mind, actually.ā She flicked her own official police inspector badge back at the woman with a stern looks, āand Iām not sure you have the authority to be here, Miss McKieā
Molly took in the badge before returning her gaze to the Inspectorās, though she didnāt seem too startled to discover that sheād likely walked right up to a lion in the lionās den and very well asked to be eaten. No, Molly merely kept her grin, placing the holder back into her pocket.Ā
āActually, I do.ā She replied, and gestured to the building.Ā āThere are certain places I canāt go inside the station, certainly, but I can be in the public spaces. That includes any of the public records that are inside. Thatās beside the point--sure you already are aware of that.ā
āIām actually here to see someone inside. They asked to remain anonymous for now, but Iām supposed to meet them in the records. Isnāt that exciting? I was just going to ask you where the records might be inside?ā
