flower festival: pink-dyed
@miss-clem
Neil had a perfect plan in his head for the flower festival: get a pink flower, leave it on the pigâs desk, walk away. Technically, he has no obligation whatsoever to give her anything. If it wasnât for that one red rose he saw on her desk, he wouldnât have done anything.Â
Who the fuck in their right mind would give that easy-going pig something romantic?! It doesnât make sense in Neilâs head. Probably some equally stupid student who thought her easygoing and accepting nature was cute. Or charming. Or hard to not notice...
...or be drawn to...
â...â He finally headed to the booths that were giving out flowers. It was lunch time so he thought there wouldnât be any one there, but of course there were. Luckily, intimidation was one of his key skills and it took a little less than a few minutes before he found himself in front of the flower booth to pick some stupid flowers.Â
Just get something pink, he told himself. But the closest thing he can find were those flowers whoâs name he didnât even know that meant friendship. Yuck.Â
None of those pink trash looked anything like something heâd want to give her... but he wasnât going to be defeated just yet. He got himself a dozen white roses and started googling how to turn them pink. He saw it somewhere in his newsfeed before so if some Nancy Drew can do it, so can he. He got himself some dye, a shit ton of glasses, and soon, the white roses were dipped in the dye. Now all thatâs left to do is wait.
Two fucking long hours later, and Neil ran out of patience. The color barely changed and if anything, it was just a white rose with hints of pink. Neil sat on the floor of his locked classroom and stared at the dozen barely-pink roses in frustration, birdâs nest of a hair now even messier than ever as he ruffled it up. âYou could have liked red, but noooo, it just had to be pink.â He blamed her color preference even if it suited her the best.Â
Pink is sweet, nice, playful, cute, feminine, charming and tender.
And Maya is... the same, if not more.
After moments of hesitation, Neil gives in to the mush in his head and took all of the barely dyed roses, wrapping them up in light pink paper. If she was pink, he was red. So he tied it all up in a thin red ribbon, the color matching the way his cheeks flustered non-stop as he exists his band room to head to the lounge.Â
If heâs lucky, sheâs not there.Â
If heâs luckier, she is.
And she is-- there in her desk, surrounded by gifts some Jane and John gave her. He walks straight ahead, not looking at anyone else. He doesnât give himself the chance to back down (and he probably will if he hesitated for even a second). He stopped right at her desk and placed the bouquet of barely pink-dyed white roses on her lap. He crossed his arms at once and leaned on the neighboring desk.
âNot. A. Word.â He warned her, voice clear and stern but it threatened to stammer if he said anything more. He kept the flowers in one hand as he looked away-- somewhere to the right, to a wall with nothing interesting in it. He just needed to look away otherwise he wonât be able to control the growing red that crept all the way to his ears.
Not like this meant anything, no. He just doesnât want to get outplayed by a stupid red rose.
We gonâ party like itâs yo birthday || Maya and Raeger
Raeger chewed on the bottom of his lip, searching for a certain recipe through his disorderly things. Once his eyes caught it, he grabbed the paper and rushed to the school kitchen. He was going to try to recreate his grandfatherâs famous strawberry shortcake.Â
Since Raegerâs birthday was coming up, he wanted to make a cake for himself. Not only for the satisfaction of completion but to honor his grandfather in some way.Â
He was so busy rummaging through the cabinets, he didnât seem to take notice of someone walking in. He turned around to preheat the oven when he nearly ran over the teacher and almost spilled the flour everywhere.Â
âShoot,â he thought.Â
He didnât even consider asking the teacher about using her space, let alone her ingredients.Â
âHey, Miss Maya. Sorry, I forgot to tell you I was going to be in here and use your ingredients. I can pay you back though,â he insisted.Â
I'm weak and I couldn't stay away for too long. ;A; Can I have my bby Maya back please?
Only if you dab ;)Everyone, your favorite Cooking teacher is back! Please follow back Maya!
Here piggy, piggy...
@miss-clem
Monday morning comes and Neil is bright and early at the academy. Heâs not being responsible or anything, he just doesnât want anyone to be around when he drops off a gift at Mayaâs desk at the lounge-- scratch that, not a gift-gift, but a gag-gift. Why the fuck would he give her a gift?!
He can already hear Lanna and her teasing voice at the back of his head, ugh. Not that it was true but...
Neil shrugged and shoved all those thoughts away as he placed a white helmet on Mayaâs desk. It was meant for a scooter or a motorcycle, but the important detail was the pig design and the stupid looking cheek swirls. He was looking for a new helmet for himself but he left the store with that monstrosity instead, heh.Â
He took a sticky note and wrote something on it before letting it sit on top of the helmet. As always, his handwriting made him seem like heâs always in a rush, but it was readable enough to comprehend. At first he wrote âSaw this and thought of you. LOL.â But it seemed off. Like it was a friendly gesture. Fuck that. Next he tried, âSo you wonât complain next time.â But then it seemed like he was inviting her to ride. Fuck that, too.Â
So he goes for the next big thing. He just doodled a circle with girly eyes, short fly-away hair with stupid looking braids on both sides and pig ears to top it all off. Then he writes just below it:
âOink. - Saint Nickâ
He retreated back to his desk before anyone can spot him. Since it was still a little early, he decides to nap at his spot before the school day  actually starts.Â

One and the Same || Maya and Pierre
@miss-clem
Ah! A fresh new start. Not that being a gourmet chef was getting boring or anything, Pierre just needed...a new beginning. A change in routine. He straightened his bow tie and tipped his hat back ever so slightly to get a look at the school. He received a school map and from that, Harvest Academy seemed like such a large school for high schoolers. Ne pas s'inquiÊter! Not to worry, he was confident he would be able to navigate through the school.
He also already knew someone who worked here so things already started off great! Speaking of that person, he should probably contact them. He pulled out his phone and started searching through his contacts.
âVoyons voir...Where is..Oh! There!â he muttered to himself.Â
Maybe texting would be the best way to contact them? He wouldnât want to interrupt something important.
âHey, Iâm outside the school gate getting ready to check in. Meet me by the office?â the text read.Â
Camaraderie || Maya & Klaus
@miss-clem
In the time that Klaus had known Maya, she already clicked with him enough to become such a close friend. The strawberry blonde, was always bursting and bumbling with energy- a light in everyoneâs darkness- and he couldnât be helped to be drawn to her like animals to the water. Of course, Klaus felt like he himself, was a terrible, terrible friend. On top of him reuniting with his daughter, and trying to get settled back in- he hasnât actually paid the cooking teacher herself a visit. Naturally he may respond in kind to a text here and there, but Fitzgerald worried that perhaps Maya herself may feel like sheâs talking to a void. He hoped not. And so it was quite a deal for the man to take the gall to meet her in front of her classroom, waiting for the bells to ring. He hoped no one would think too much of it, or he appeared too forward- especially since he was holding a basket filled with high quality cheeses and chocolates. (With a few cute pumpkin trinkets here and there.) Klaus didnât wish to scare his friend away, or give off the wrong impression. Admittedly, itâs been a while since he had anyone to consider a dear friend, and this old wolf didnât want to lose that connection. You could be the loneliest wolf in the world, and still have the desire to not be alone. Although if it were to be like that, Klaus knew he could survive. The bell rings and students exit the room one by one. A few of them stay there a bit longer to speak to Miss Clementine herself, one even gives her a big hug before they go off. Klaus smiles at that interaction. But was it strange for him to be watching? He slowly enters the room while the last kid stumbles off. He notices her doing something--perhaps trying to put an object high up and away- and decides to intervene.Â
âIs there something I could do to help, Maya?â He sheepishly grins with a low chuckle as he grabs the object out of her hand.
