Dashboard
I just discovered a problem in my game. Yes, another! Amazing! But this time I solved it.
I had downloaded some new hairs recently. Yes, I know. Always dangerous.
Normally I use the Dashboard whenever I’ve put some new CC into my game. Lately I’ve been lazy :( Double checking with Delphy’s Dashboard I found it was getting repeated errors. Eventually it did load the whole set of Mods though.
So I thought I would go look it up and I found a helpful post buried in MTS2. Which suggested that repeated errrors on startup of the Dashboard can be caused by CC that is actually for Sims 4!
The article said the error could be fixed by manually checking what shows up in Dashboard and what doesn’t - so compare the listing in Dashboard with the list of files in your Mods folders. By checking manually file by file - not a good thing with a headache - I found just one file that didn’t show up. I’m sure that must have been a Sims 4 file, as it was not large. I won’t name the creator but would say:
PLEASE if you create for Sims 4, make sure it’s clearly labelled on the web page! We poor downloaders might well like the look of it and mess up our games. We would not thank you for it!
