[opening image description: a round DIY pig-face squishy made from a sponge with rounded triangle ears and a protruding oblong nose, held against a cream background. The pig has been painted pink with black eyes, dark pink nostrils, small pink ovals for kawaii-style cheeks and a black line smile. It sits in a set of light brown fingers with unpainted nails, and a small silver chain at the top of the pig squishy leads to a DIY cardboard tag featuring a handdrawn image of a red and white barn. Text beside the pig squishy reads “simple pig squishy” above a small pink vector-image of a pig, and text above the squishy reads “DIY” in pink letters inside a pink box.]
Video Tutorial: Pig Face Squishy, Mishcrafts
Components:
Foam or sponge
Scissors
Puffy fabric paint in white and acrylic paints (for colouring the white fabric paint)
Plate or cup for blending colours
Super glue
Paintbrushes, toothpicks and disposable gloves for painting
Cardboard, pencils, paper, tape, eye pin, jump ring and ball chain are required if one wishes to make the tag. A stand on which to place the squishy while it dries is also helpful, and a mat or paper for covering the tabletop.
