    The cafeteria was quiet as the German engineer sat against a wall with her feet up on the chair, working on her log book and getting it up to date. It wasn't exactly hard considering all she'd done since the Breach closed was maintenance and repairing the clean-up Jaegers. Her father had even gone to the trouble of going on holidays rather than sulk around the Shatterdome until something exciting happened.

      Though rumours spread quickly when you were around the gossip. According to some there was a second Breach opening, though she'd heard nothing about it. It worried her, but it certainly meant more work and no loss of employment.

       The echoing footsteps of someone entering the Cafeteria made her look up, twirling her pen around her thumb, seeing who'd be around at this hour. Not many people wandered around here when there was no food to be served.

            "Bit late for food."

    She called out, smiling slightly as she looked back down at her log book, still twirling the pen around her thumb.
