Justice Suit of Swords High Priestess
Justice: is how you read tarot now different than it was when you began, or do you use the same methods? if so, describe.
Uh, no, it’s pretty much the same. I basically shuffle the cards and send them energy/thoughts, then start flipping cards, and then I still have to look most of them up -- if only because each deck has slightly different connotations, and there might be a single word or phrase that jumps out at me.
I have started drawing the spreads when I write them down, though, so I can visualize it again later, since I started learning to look at the whole spread as its own overarcing message instead of just reading the cards in order.
Suit of Swords: what’s something you’re particularly knowledgeable about?
1. 60s music trivia2. 60s/70s counterculture movement and the role of protest music3. Animal care, for specific animals4. Emotions :) I’m good at people.
The High Priestess: if you have family in your life, do they know you read the tarot? have you ever given a reading for a family member?
My parents know, yeah. They’re pretty much the only family I talk to, lol. My dad is still weirded out by it (he’s hanging on to the whole Christian thing a lot harder than my mom is, she went full agnostic). I ... do not think I have ever done a reading for my parents at all. I might have done one for my mother when I first started, but I don’t remember. I do readings for Kellie occasionally, though, and she’s family since she’s my partner, lol.
