About the titles of the first three Touhou games
The names of the first three Touhou games are:
東方靈異伝 ~ (The) Highly Responsive to Prayers
東方封魔録 ~ (The) Story of Eastern Wonderland
東方夢時空 ~ (The) Phantasmagoria of Dim.Dream
I've put "the" in brackets because in official media, there are instances with and without the definite article.
Title screens
The title screen of Touhou 1 says The Highly Responsive to Prayers and the title screen of Touhou 3 says The Phantasmagoria of Dim. Dream. Story of Eastern Wonderland has only the Japanese part of the name in the title screen (see /tagged/title2).
Mystic Square references
In Mystic Square's "Touhou Project All Cast" which appears after the ending scenes of the extra stage, the names are as follows:
「東方靈異伝」 ~ Highly Responsive to Prayers
「東方封魔録」 ~ The story of eastern wonderland
「東方夢時空」 ~ The Phantasmagoria of Dim.Dream
Akyu's Untouched Score
The page listing the tracks from Akyu's Untouched Score 5, 3, and 4 have the names of the games as follows:
東方靈異伝 ~ Highly Responsive to Prayers
東方封魔録 ~ the Story of Eastern Wonderland
東方夢時空 ~ Phantasmagoria of Dim.Dream

Highly Responsive to Prayers music stuff (1)
This may not be new information for some of you, but it's nice to know if you haven't heard about it already. The music from Highly Responsive to Prayers is stored in .MDT files. Although I do not possess the means to listen to them as they are (not in the game) there is still a way to find out some stuff about them. Here is the list with the music tracks.
You can open the files using notepad and actually see their true names. I will expand this across few posts in order not to make an extremely long post.
ST0.MDT and ST6.MDT are the same song 永遠の巫女. This song plays in stages 1-4 and 16-19 (hell route).
In the music test, it appears only once and has the same title as shown in the notepad file.
ST1.MDT contains 神へ捧げる魂 ~ Highly Responsive to Prayers. It is the song that plays during levels 6-9 (makai route) and during the credits. What is really interesting is that the wiki mentions another name as the full name 神へささげる魂 ~ Highly Responsive to Prayers. Again, I don’t have a player to be able to listen to these tracks and see if it would display any title there, but seems like the song has more variations to its name (?).
In the music test, the name of the song is heavily cut, displaying only “Highly Responsive”.
ST2.MDT contains the song 東方怪奇談 which plays during stages 6-9 (hell route). The music test title has no differences.
Highly Responsive to Prayers music stuff (4)
Last but not least, part 4, continuation to these posts /post/190848846489/, /post/190849545419/, /post/190856519179/.
TENSI.MDT contains Sariel’s first theme, いざ、倒れ逝くその時まで..., which in the music test is displayed without the comma and the 3 dots at the end of the title.
SHUGEN.MDT and SYUGEN.MDT contain Theme of 地獄めくり, which was confirmed by others to be Sariel’s second theme (I do not possess the means to listen to these files as they are, nor do I know how to convert them). However, the music test menu shows another name for that song, which is 死なばもろとも.
INIT.MDT and ALICE.MDT have the song 星幽天使 ~ The ”★Alice-in-Wonderland” Angel, which was confirmed by others to be Konngara’s theme. In the music test menu, the theme appears to have a different name, 星幽剣士. I am not able to tell you if these two files play the same song or if it’s different version of it (like in case of KAMI and KAMI2, but as soon as I will find out I will let you know as well).

Highly Responsive to Prayers music stuff (2)
A continuation to the previous post /post/190848846489/.
ST3.MDT is Oriental Magician, the track that plays during levels 11-14 (makai route).
ST4.MDT is 破邪の小太刀, the track that plays during levels 11-14 (hell route).
ST5.MDT is The Legend of KAGE, which plays during levels 16-19 (makai route). It has capital “T” for some reasons, but oddly enough I remember it being written with lowercase “t” in lots of places. It’s like that even on the wiki.
REIMU.MDT is the title screen theme, A Sacred Lot. However, in the music test it’s written as A Sacret Lot, with a “t” instead of a “d”.
ZIPANGU.MDT is 風の神社, the track which appears only in the music test and is not used anywhere else in the game.
Highly Responsive to Prayers music stuff (3)
A continuation to the previous two posts /post/190848846489/, /post/190849545419/.
POSITIVE.MDT has the song 陰陽 -The Positive and Negative, which is the stage 5 boss theme. In the music test, the name is shortened, Positive and Negative being displayed only.
LEGEND.MDT has the song 天使伝説, which is the stage 10 boss theme, regardless of path chosen (makai or hell)
KAMI.MDT and KAMI2.MDT both contain a song with the same name, 魔鏡, but which differs a bit. It’s the theme of the stage 15 bosses. I will show you the difference in a video (I already did at some point but now I will compare it with the one from music test too, since only one version of it can be listened in the music test).
IRIS.MDT should have the song that plays during the endings, but for some reasons, when you open the file with notepad, you don’t see any song title there. Again, I don’t have a player to properly play those files, so I don’t know what it should or should not display when using one.
