One of my biggest pet peeves is when males say that feminism or rather “modern feminism” has become synonymous with misandry, which just isn’t true at all.
I have never ever seen a feminist who just outwardly hates males. When a woman is a misandrist, she will let you know straight up. In fact as a misandrist myself, I am well aware that a lot of feminists actually hate me and my views.
I think that this mistaken interpretation comes from the fact that when feminists state a fact, statistic or recurring negative behaviour seen in males, it is seen as misandry. It makes males feel uncomfortable and threatened to acknowledge their wrongdoings so they just play the victim.
Which is why I also encourage more women to become misandrists instead of feminists. Here you are fighting for both genders (the only movement where you are expected to be considerate of your oppressors) and they are still ungrateful troglodytes.
