Awwww thank you so much!! That really means a lot to me. A LOT a lot. Much of the difficulty for me has been in getting to a point where "doing the thing" doesn't scare the shit outta me, so when I mail the letter I won't panic or anything. That's honestly been one of the biggest obstacles. That and writing it. I needed a lot of encouragement to really express how I felt because I thought I might make him uncomfortable somehow. But once I opened up and spilled my guts, the letter just became SO wonderful and I'm so so proud of it now and I'm so excited for him to read it. So honestly this wouldn't even be possible without you and others who helped me out. <3

UM good question! I have another pic of him looking about the same in front of a Jurassic Park thingy so I’mma say it was circa Pillars since the Jurassic Park 20th anniversary was in 2010.

I wouldn’t be surprised! I’m pretty sure the one lady who goes up all embarrassed he says something like “You’re not short!”

I’ve had literal years now of Rufus “research” and not to mention I’m a pretty perceptive person so I sometimes talk about him with more familiarity than maybe I should but I’ll also be the first person to admit that I don’t really know him at all?? He’s so full of contradictions, not to mention whenever anyone starts to peg him as one thing, he’ll deliberately turn around and do the opposite. He hates to be pinned down by a single definition. And I can relate to that so much, but it makes it really hard to figure out what he’s actually like as a person. I mean I have an idea, but I don’t KNOW, you know? I’d like to know... but then I’m just like, wow get the fuck over yourself.
