I don't know what really happened with Lauren Zuke, but let's remember to be respectful of everyone in this situation. Some things to keep in mind: - it may seem hard to believe that Zuke was in an abusive environment, given what we know of CN and Rebecca Sugar. It's hard to know for sure what happened, but let's try to avoid jumping to any conclusions. Don't assume RS is a perfect angel and Zuke is being immature/petty/lying/etc. Don't assume RS is secretly evil and Zuke is an innocent victim. Unless you know all the information, try to keep your mind open. - I haven't confirmed for myself whether Zuke's blog is legit or not. For all I know, they could be fake posts. Not saying they are, but I don't know where that blog is and it seems Zuke doesn't want anyone following their blog if they don't know them. I'm not going to go looking for it. - please don't harass anyone. There is a very large chance that no one involved wants to talk about it to random strangers. - this isn't the fandom's fault. It's not the fault of shippers. Any shippers. Please don't blame any one group. - Take any information you find on the subject with a grain of salt. Lots of things are fake on the internet. I know it's cliche, but it's also easy to forget since nowadays there's so much GOOD info on the internet. People jump to their own conclusions and fill in the blanks their own ways, and sometimes they present it as fact, intentionally or unintentionally.
