ever since the letter had arrived from black manor informing narcissa of her engagement to lucius malfoy, andromeda had struggled to decide how she felt about it. she went through waves of sympathy for her younger sister’s loss of freedom and frustration that narcissa even had the privilege of knowing to feel badly about it. that obscure jealousy is what spurs andromeda to be annoyed with her younger sister for seemingly no reason much more frequently as of late. tonight at the slytherin table in the great hall is no different. “ can you shove over? ” she snips, nudging her sister’s knee with her own a tad more forcefully than is probably required. 

intimacy + 4: sharing secrets !!

HER SISTER WAS one of the most important people in her life, one of those people that would be there for her, no matter what happened, right? Bellatrix breathed deeply, knowing that she had this massive secret to tell her sister, but she was terrified. Her hands were sweating and she couldn’t get them to stop. Her heart felt like it was beating out of her chest. How could she possibly explain any of this to her without getting shunned from the family? She looked at her sister, sat down next to her and reached for her hands, just holding them. Feeling her sister’s soft hands against hers was comforting, but she didn’t know if it was enough. Could she get over all of the stress to tell her sister how she felt? 

Lifting her head, her eyes met her sisters as she tried not to let the tears fall from her eyes. “Cissa, you know you’re important to me and you know I value everything about our relationship, and so, it’s with a heavy heart that I have a big secret to tell you,” she stated, breathing deeply. Bellatrix was being dramatic at this point, but she was worried that she’d be shunned from the Black family for it.

“Cissa, I bought a pink dress. It’s ruffly and a pale pink. But it’s so cute, I can’t help it!” Bellatrix explained, trying her best not to start pacing back and forth. “I don’t know what’s wrong with me! I should be shunned from the family! But look at it!” she stated, holding it up in front of her to show her sister. “HOW CAN YOU NOT LOVE IT?!”
