Lopez Digital Media Series: The Power of the Image featuring Cholo Laurel (November 2013)
Project Coordinator
For this episode of the Lopez Digital Media Series, I took on a role that I rarely handle in any of my production work. I was in charge of coordinating with filmmaker and director Cholo Laurel for the content and scheduling of his shoot regarding the power of the image and his experience in photography. Aside from his pleasing personality and his insightful perception of the world, conversing with him made me realize that, in the world of media, people get excited to work with you if your name is "Drama", haha. But in all seriousness, as someone who wants to jump into a career in reality television and documentaries, I gained a lot from his ideas on capturing real life.
