shops for groceries: Ezra, however he clutches with him a very specific list of items from Miranda that he MUST follow to the T; the consequences should he mess up again would be dire.
kills the spiders: Ezra, not because Miranda is afraid; Ezra is probably closer to being frightened of any bugs in the house. It's literally just becuase Miranda can't be bothered to and all she has to do is ignore the bug because sooner or later the thing's presence will drive Ez insane.
comes home drunk at 3am: Ezra, and when the neighbors hear clattering and strings of cursing with wails of 'MARBS, MARBLE' they know it's one of those nights.
makes breakfast: Miranda usually does, because she wakes early naturally from the sunlight pouring in and it's a nice moment to herself to cherish what it is she has here with that well-dressed idiot, while she pours juice and cooks some eggs for the both of them.
remembers to feed the fish: Miranda, but they are Ezra's fish and Miranda warned him the day he insisted they buy 5 betta fish even though betta fish are not supposed to be kept in the same tank for their own safety,that he'd BETTER not make them her responsibility. Of course, Ezra forgets to feed them constantly. So Miranda angrily feeds betta fish one by one, grumbling to Ezra II-VI while she dribbles the powdery food into their seperate bowls.
decorates the apartment: Miranda, Ezra is banned from decorating, and all IKEA catalogues are hidden away from him so they do not have a stupid, 'delicously modern' coat rack arriving at their apartment without warning.
initiates duets: Ezra, but only when he sees Miranda silently dancing in the kitchen. She will pretend not to smile and keep her eyes away, hidden in a curtain of dark hair and cast down at her hands as she cooks, but he sings on because her swaying hips clearly give her away.
falls asleep first: Ezra, and Miranda will hiss in annoyance because she is /working/ and /writing/ and this idiot is snoring in her lap. Again, she smiles, now, only where he cannot see him, and combs through his curly hair with her free hand while he snoozes against her.
