A Single Man by Christopher Isherwood (the writing kinda reminds me of Tartt sometimes? a lot of angst, it’s a very sad book and you will cry)

The Charioteer by Mary Renault (I’m reading this right now and it’s so amazing!! gorgeous writing, classical references, set during WWII)
