Ya girl is back with another Albedo series! This time, we’re following the events of the 2.3 Shadows Amidst Snowstorms Dragonspine event :)
Each act in this series is between 7-10k words, I’ve tried to pay attention to small details and such!
Due to the length of this series (in terms of words), updates will likely be slow as I do still have school work and personal things to attend to!
The series isn’t AS slow burn-y as Forelsket because we’ve already established Albedo and the MC’s relationship, but I hope you still enjoy this!

Are deck master abilities a HOPT that applies to all deck master abilities, or could using a deck master as material for a new deck master allow you to use the new deck master’s abilities even if you already used the old deck master’s abilities that turn? If the latter, how come no one even attempted to abuse this property to its absolute greatest degree or even do a little theorycrafting to optimize deck master performance and give themselves the greatest chance against the big five?
Deck Master abilities are whatever Noah is willing to let them be, because they're Cheat Codes as monsters. There's no consistent rules to them whatsoever.
It's kinda obvious he was bullshiting Shinato and its Ark as he went along like a dickhead.
It's hard to metagame against an asshole GM who changes the rules as he goes along, and that you can't go JADGE against for him being a little shit.
With how the anime version of gumblar can destroy the opponent’s ENTIRE hand and is completely generic, how come Revolver didn’t use a deck that made this thing on the first turn instead of the middle of the duel when his opponent, if they were competent, would have been able to set up their board even if they didn’t go first? Even if he was married to Rokkets, he could have included more than a few Guardragon monsters to get a better advantage against playmaker, even w/o using gumblar!
He's married to Rokkets, and uuuh, the Deck was limited to stuff of up to like March~May of that year in terms of real product, but like, narratively speaking, realistic loops are boring?
And the show has to make it so Yusaku gets to do something in between so he isn't just reading his Blue Angel feed and hugging his Blue Angel body pillow while waiting for Revolver to do things, like, okay?
