What are you searching for? As your mind runs rapid for answers You draw straight blanks What are you running from? You begin to utter airless rebuttals Believing those are the answers Could you become one with yourself? Hurried agreements Without much thoughts taken Experience the thought of oneself Plaster solitude to your being Relax and enjoy your company You come into this world alone You leave this world alone Learn to embrace the thoughts within you Why so? A time will come where you will be alone To suffer alone The ones you love that loved back won't be there You're on your own From your joys to your sorrows Celebrate alone Stop searching for entertainment There no greater company Than the entertainment within yourself Embody the lonely feels The boredom Meditate with the time Dance to the thought in your mind You grow a little when you stop running Freezing the time to look around you Embrace it Love it Humor it The day will come when it will slip through your hands When there is no turning back The future has cast its stone So, what are you searching for? -MintyKid mintychronicles

A dozen roses Just for me Filled with your love The twelve times you say you love me While it lasted It just was a dream Those crimson red roses Defining your passion Holding the stems Touching the thorns Not a chance to bleed the joy The beauty of roses Imagine to lay eyes on To watch wilt away The petals fade those fond memories While passion lives on Sweet smell of nature Dancing as I inhale and exhale Petals graze my nose Stimulating me with excitement and lust With the blink of the eye Rush is gone Idly I stand Cold as I feel Empty handed I am View the world again Behind the glass Glare at the dozen Those twelve roses Resting in the vase Dream to touch my hands Moments Memories Love Never will bless my heart Those passionate red roses Are really home for another Another memory Another's fantasy pleaser I turn away and sigh I guess it will be another year Dream of the fantasy rose They could be mine Maybe it will be next year My dozen roses -MintyKid mintychronicles
