Welcome back for another edition of Alyson's beauty reviews! ELF lip exfoliator, mint maniac, $3 Today I am doing a first impressions of the ELF lip exfoliate in mint maniac. As always these will be my honest thoughts and opinions regarding the product. I purchased this the last time I was at the store and tried it for the first time today! The mint scent is not overpowering, in fact it barely smells like mint. Has a very balm-y texture when first opened and it takes a couple rubs before you get the exfoliant. It is a very gentle exfoliator. I was expecting it to be much harsher and was surprised. I did seem as though I used a lot of products and I have very thins lips, maybe it just takes practice? It says to rub in circular motions and then use a cotton pad wetted to wipe it away. I followed the directions and kind of rubbed my lips together and then wiped it away and I didn't notice an immediate improvement once I wiped it off. My lips did feel a little softer. I went and applied a lip balm and now I notice they are a bit softer than before. When I applied my lip liner and lipstick they did appear to apply smoother and my lips looked smoother after I was done applying it. It also seems to rub better between my lips. I did notice a flake or clump of lipstick, I'm not sure if it came off my lip or off my stick. But I haven't had problems with this lipstick before. Tl:Dr; seemed to work as advertised, very light scent, lips seem smoother and softer after one use. Lipstick does go on smoother. Pros: very gentle, made lips softer after one use lipstick did go on smoother. Light scent Cons: light scent (for me), didn't seem to get all the dead skin (maybe I need more practice with it), and seemed to use a lot of product. So overall I give it a đź’„đź’„đź’„đź’„đź’„đź’„đź’„đź’„ (8/10) Thank you for joining me in another one of my reviews! I hope to see you next time!

mintmanic replied to your photoset: This is why I love going shopping in Camden.
Goddamit, now I *really* need to get my ass down to Camden like I keep promising myself I will.
See, my words when I got the gothic-punk-lolita-kimono-thing were "My friend [Mint] is going to murder me. She is going to kill me in my sleep and take it."
The entire day was just full of things you so needed in your life. Make a lot of money and then visit me in early September.
