The “Orange Peel Theory” Minchan version🧡🐰🐺

This theory says that we do small things for people to feel connected to them. It also says some people like eating oranges but dislike peeling them. And others don’t mind peeling oranges. So, you ask someone to peel that orange and see how they react. That’s the theory itself, but it goes beyond that.

With Minchan it would be the Egg Peel Theory and for them it means building trust. Minho doesn’t need to ask because they’re in sync with each other. They seem to be in harmony with the other’s wants and needs.

So Minho doesn’t ask because Chan is already there to help him before he can.

And seeing how independent and private they both tend to be, this is a huge thing. It means they’re so comfortable with each other they let themselves RELY on the other. Minho doesn’t feel bad for not peeling the egg because Chan would never say no to him and it’s his way of asking Chan to be there for him. And Chan likes to be the one peeling his egg because it’s his way of taking care of Minho.

It’s kinda like “If you struggle, look up and you’ll see me next to you.”

And it’s not just the orange or the egg or any other food. It’s everything they do.

It’s Chan fixing Minho’s face chain.

It’s Minho cooking Chan’s favourite dish because he misses Australia.

It’s Chan wanting Minho to baby him and no one else.

It’s Chan standing close to Minho when he’s not OK.

It’s them being there and trusting each other for the big and the tiniest things.

It’s them always finding ways to connect to the other and show that they’re there.

It’s them spending time to take care of the other in such different but genuine ways.

It’s Minchan being Minchan🐺🐰❤️
