Hot Shot Kid winning the $100,000 Wally’s Choice Minnesota Classic

The Kid went right the the front easily, and was pressured the whole way around the track by Fireman Oscar. However, his rival was no match for this gusty gelding and he got away at the top of the stretch. He wired the field, winning by 4 lengths and in 1:44.82

With this win, Kid is likely to end up Canterbury’s 2019 Horse of the Meet, since he’s won both major turf and dirt races at the track.
