I feel you back dude. I play games to get away from stress and anxiety (& getting yelled at & perfectionist issues) so the prospect dealing with that or really sucking makes me worry i’d lose interest in playing at all. but i’m also hella driven by pettiness and spite so who knows, maybe it’d fuel me? hahaha won’t know until i try tho.

along with jimbe and brook they’d be the tea buddies! and at the same time, they were both saved by luffy from having to hide who they were and instead were just allowed to be themselves :’))) plus, the fact they were both originally enemies of the strawhats who were somehow allowed to join such a tight-knit group? it almost feels like a dream to them, and it’s something they’d probably bond over.

they’d probably try and compete to see who can make the bigger limbs, or the most amount of them. robin creates a giant arm as tall as sunny’s mast, so katakuri just turns the mast into mochi and shapes it to his liking. who can find who quicker, robin with her eyes everywhere or katakuri with his observation haki. they’d work really well off one another, since they consider themselves to be the ‘mature duo’ of the straw hats. the straw hats are an eccentric lot, and although katakuri are more comfortable with their own quirkiness it’s always refreshing to have someone you can sit next to without having to worry about conversation, whom with you can simply relax.

it’s unlikely wouldn’t appreciate her morbid comments though, not at first, because after decades of action and making sure to be on top of things her standing back and saying “you know if you fail we’re all going to die” probably wouldn’t be considered very encouraging by him XD but that’s something they get past, and he soon grows to appreciate her comments and even makes some of his own after the danger is gone. while robin says things before or during a confrontation, katakuri would be the type to say it after since thanks to his future vision he knows full well the ways things could’ve gone wrong.
