I’m a bit late to the party with this, but when @solidtreasures proposed the #minispoonchallenge, I knew I had to give it a try! It was the perfect project to kick off the new year, I had no expectations, no plan and the most fun making this tiny spoon from scrap copper and brass. Clearly I was inspired by the textures I saw on our #firstdayhike this morning (particularly the turkey tail mushrooms and woodpecker marks!) This measures just over 2” long; the spoon bowl is just over .5” in diameter. Forged entirely by hand.
