Taehyung looks up at you from where his chin is digging into your hip, eyes caramel brown in the stream of light he refuses to shift away from in favour of being a menace. He snakes a hand up and under your shirt, prodding at your tummy with a gentle poke of his index finger, his brows draw together.

"You know parents would give their babies nicknames? We should come up with one..." He says, and then he wriggles his way up the bed, stumbling over the sleeve of his sweater as it gets caught under his knee. He lays on his side, throwing his arm across your chest, "should we make a list?"

"You can pick whatever, Tae."

"Your nonchalance hurts me, woman." He says, and then sighs directly into your ear. You just narrowly miss knocking your head into his when you pull away, laughing. He doesn't let you get far, curling his hand under your shoulder and pressing himself to your side, he presses his lips against your ear, "You should show more enthusiasm."

Ticklish, you try to wiggle away, and when that fails you resort to digging your fingers into his sides. He immediately releases you and rolls away, laugh getting muffled by the blankets.

"You've slobbered into my ear!" You cry, sitting up, and turning to place your feet on the carpeted floor.

"I did not." Taehyung sits up too, laughing still, "I can if you want me to, though."

"You're nasty." You say, about to get up, but he wraps his arms around your waist, like a velcro baby unable to be apart from his mother. You sigh, tilting your head back to stare at the ceiling, he's always been clingy, not that you mind that, but it's upped to the max now. "Taehyung."

He leans his head, looking up at you from behind your arm, all innocent and bright eyed.

"I have to pee."

His expression drops, "No you don't. In fact, you went to the bathroom five minutes ago and you haven't drank anything."

"A lot can happen in five minutes." You say, turning in his hold to face him. He grins at you, "we literally have so much time to decide on a nickname."

"But why wait when we could do it now?"

That's how you ended up with a notepad and pen, with Taehyung going through a list of nicknames he thinks sounds nice. Going through all the clichés that makes you make a face or flat out disagree.

"How about bee?"

"I had a cat named bee once."

"Okay, not bee, then." He scratches a line through the nickname, "Oh, I know." He seems so excited by his thought, perking up and all, "Pill."

"...what?" You snort, and he just nods like he's made the most important decision of his life.

"Yeah, because you were definitely on it. And here we are, and there's the pill in question."
