MiniGale 2.0
Finished.
And of course you can have a size comparison with 1.0! They’re both at a con with me, I couldn’t resist bringing the littlest guy.
MiniGale 2.0, anyone?

Fairing fix & oil change
Still having some problems fitting the oil retention pan but hopefully a M5/25 will solve that, otherwise there'll be some carving on the front bend to make it work. While bike as naked as is now I removed all oil. Only thing to think about really is to have two M8's (preferably 50mm+) to make removal of oil filter cover easier since these will fit into the cap to get "handles" to use when prying off. Oil filter changed and cover back on with torque of 13nm. Didn't put oil back in yet, since I might need to remove plug while fitting that oil retention pan.

So today I did some more checking on the fit of the fairings and drilled some holes to make them work. Pretty good fit except for right upper side fit against the front where there are some glitches. Still haven't figured out how to get the oil retention pan in place, starting to think they've sent the wrong one or maybe I'm just not getting it. Well, it's a long winter before the tracks so I'm guessing it'll all work out eventually
So I got some stuff from ups the other day. Had to check what it was. I'll get back on other stuff later on but these babies I could not stop looking at... Sato rearsets. Forward set 25mm and lift up to 35mm. I'll be running these in top/forward setting since I'm equipped with the shortest legs available at my time of birth. I had to do a quick dry mount on my kitchen table to my wife's enjoyment :) I'll report back when they are on the bike later on.
Why not. Ordered and received some coffee mugs that'll suit those romantic moments in the garage...
