Okay, i know you said you do minis, but i seriously think you should turn the boot camp/bungalow minis into a chaptered fic, just saying >.< Anyway, can you continue them, i really like them, they are amazing!
Hmm...maybe Iâll organize them and just continue them when theyâre requested once and if I get to about ten parts, but I have way too much on my plate for multi-chapters right now (Iâm writing three currently). Maybe one day; I really, really love trying to delve into their minds back in the X-Factor days. Anyway, here you are, and I hope you enjoy! (:
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4
It was the X-Factor finals.
They, One Direction, were finalists.
How, Louis often wondered that week. Justâhow? Eighteen weeks earlier, they had been but mere acquaintancesâwell, actually, even less than that. He hadnât even met Zayn or Niall, and had had just one or two conversations with Liam, and even Harry he had barely talked to a handful of times.
Now, eighteen weeks later, he couldnât imagine life without themâlife without One Direction. It felt like if they didnât exist, the world didnât exist.
They had to win. No matter what Louis had to do, they were going to win.
They worked hard that weekâran on little sleep, rehearsed every damn minute they had free. Everyone was determined.
But that didnât stop the doubts the creeped inâdoubts that Harry decided to bring up the night before their last performance.
âWhatâre we going to do, guys?â he asked as they sat in the living room, long after party had dissipated. It was late (or early; none of the boys were really sure) and they probably shouldâve been asleep; after all, they had the biggest performance of the competition, heck, the biggest performance of their lives, the next day. But instead, they were gathered on the sofaâs and bean bags, Louis a bit drunk, and all the others (though theyâd never admit it) the slightest bit buzzed.
âWhat do you mean?â Zayn was the one to ask. Harry sighed, feeling four sets of eyes on him, waiting for the next part of his question.
âWhatâre we gonna do if we donât win?â
Everyone was silent, realizing suddenly that there was a huge possibility they wouldnât win. They had been living it week to weekâperforming to stay in the competition. Now, they needed to perform to win.
âWell,â Liam spoke up several moments later, âOur lives...theyâll never be the same. I donât know about any of you, but I wonât be content with life anymore. I think we should stay together.â
âSame,â Niall agreed immediately, âThis is my dream. This is our dream. We canât just give it up, even if we donât win tomorrow.â
âAgreed,â Zayn said, just as Louis started speaking.
âYou know, lads, itâs like Iâve known you all forever. Or, at least, for a very long time. I donât want to lose any of you any more than I want to lose this chance.â
âAw,â Harry smiled, leaning over to give Louis a quick hug. Louis pulled Niall into it just a few seconds later, and then Liam joined, and then Zayn, until a full out group hug was happening. When they finally pulled apart, there was evidence of tears in everyoneâs eyes.
âSo thatâs it, lads,â Louis said, âNo matter what happens tomorrow, weâre going to stay together.â
And though it didnât help a ton, it did help the five of them get a little more sleep that nightâknowing that no matter the outcome of the competition, theyâd always have each other.
