So this aluminum glass display was supposed to be put up in our living room, but mom wasnât feeling the aesthetic of it in our living room.
Hence, this is why she gave it to me because she has no idea what to make of it & told me I should display some of my books here as my plastic bookshelf is about to give out.
PUP announced a short break due to Super Typhoon Rolly, so here I am binge-watching and cleaning up stuff rather than finish my remaining backlogs.
Is there any backstory to my books on display? Well, I havenât bought any books that interested me. Iâve just bought a continuation of the book series I've been reading and trendy ones for the past two years of going to the Manila International Book Fair. So the books here are the old ones that I enjoyed as a teenager. Some of them didnât age well in terms of the author.
I decided to use the other half of the display for my cables & fountain pen inks. Iâm careful about these inks as some of them have sentimental value; what can I say Iâm a sentimental person.
For the top part, Iâm putting my typewriter, my laptop, and some plants. Iâm thinking of placing framed pictures also, but I donât have a lot of printed pictures, it's just mostly polaroid photos that Iâll probably tape to my wall.Â
Itâs been like two months since we moved back here again, but I donât have the motivation to design my room. Iâve decided to use it as a classroom for a while, I couldnât focus on my classes whenever mom starts her classes. I donât blame her for her loud voice or trying times to get her student's attention.
Been also thinking of getting a sofa bed, itâs fun joining the floor gang and having my mattress on the floor but Iâm having a hard time getting up. I guess thatâs all on what Iâm currently up to.
