Hey there everyone!

Our USS Enterprise NCC-1701-E has finally been fully mirrored of all its empty rooms, and its machinery implemented in their corresponding places. The ship has now had its decks fully split so work on designing each individual room can begin. In the end, every room will be individually modelled and designed.

We've come a long way in the 8 months it’s taken to get to this point, so please take a moment to reblog this to show your support. We would love to get word of this project further out there.

Here's a good amount of the ship that I could render on extreme render distance. This is the model with just the hull. The only model we have of the Enterprise D that won't lag me if I try to render, or even look at it, with that much render distance.

Some of you, and almost everybody who sees or is following our Enterprise project at MineTrek may be always ask these questions:

1. Is it to scale?

2. Is every room available that would have existed on the real ship?

3. How do you do it?!

Well, to answer those questions;

1: Yes! We build all of our ships (that can fit) to scale the actual ships. To be 100% honest, our Enterprise is 1.22:1 because of the 1 meter limit in Minecraft, but that doesn't stop it from looking awesome or stop us from building it.

2. Again, yes! Because it is to scale, we made sure to follow the exact specs of the Paramount blueprints made by a man named Edwin Lee Whitefire. Every room, floor, hallway, and every crevice is exactly where it needs to be. Don't worry, Paramount released these blueprints for all public use, so we did too!

3. Since that last question takes some explanation, I decided that I'd just include pictures for you. I have included captions so you know what's going on.
