I love how The Flight is basically using the in game time at their own will. Irl days if there's someone missing or on a trip or sick or other Lore Reasons, but in regards to traveling they're like "Yeah it's a few days travel" when irl it's only like 10 - 15 minutes.
It means that the trip that can't possibly take more than an hour or so irl (idk how far this mountain is but it's Minecraft) now takes multiple days and Scott has the perfect excuse for leaving the school.
