Later that night, another annoying demon in your world, Playmate, decided to destroy your bed. Knowing he must've been in the mood to play, you left your house and stared at the rising moon, waiting for him to show up. Instead, his irritating minion appeared, pressing his blade against your neck, breathing down your neck.

The bastard chuckled to himself as he let his free hand roam over your still body. The anger within you made you shake, which amused him all the more. He kept going on and on about how nice your warmth felt, how he could never get enough.

"Fuck off." You gritted through your teeth, to which he clicked his tongue in disappointment.

Thankfully, Playmate did eventually turn up, which prompted August to leave you alone. For this round you had to hide. There was this one little hole you loved to crawl into, you were never found there. Like many times before, you were close to winning, when suddenly, August held you down again.

"Cute little burrow you have here, Hase!" He cooed, pressing you into him more. "I'm sure PLAYMATE-" He raised his voice, it rang through the darkness "-would love to see it!"

As expected, the other found you easily after August's stunt, which got you immediately killed. And since you didn't have a bed, you found yourself in the middle of a forest you've long forgotten.

Your blood began to boil at the sudden sensation of a familiar heaviness resting on your shoulder.

"What a beautiful night... and it's just us two." August didn't hesitate to trap you in a hug. "Now you can devote all your attention to me, right?"

You will skin him one day, that's for sure. But for now, your wonderful mind presented you with a rather promising revenge.

He wants your attention? You'll make him work for it.

Beg for it even. And if things go best, cry for it.

A few days later, Playmate wanted to play again. This time, you cut him off before he could decide on the roles.

"A bet?" He asked, scratching his mask in interest. You nodded.

"I just wanted to make today's game a bit more interesting. It's fine if-"

He cut you off with his weird laugh and a few enthusiastic claps.

"So exciting! I don't remember the last time a played with a human with stakes. You must be really tired of your soul!"

You let out a nervous chuckle. You couldn't believe this is the lenght you were willing to go to get back at that asshole.

The game you two agreed on was simple, but far from easy for you. You had to play two rounds of hide and seek, one with you as the seeker, the other with you as the one hiding. You had to win both rounds to with the bet. The catch? You got less time as the seeker, but Playmate gave himself more time when he was trying to find you.

Thankfully, you won as the seeker quite fast. Not leaving room for rest, Playmate started to count to 30 the moment you found him. He was eager to get your soul.

You managed to find another promising hiding place ever since August exposed the last one. As you expected, Playmate searched there first. Almost half of the time Playmate was given to find you has passed, but it made you more anxious.

"Having fun?~" Your brain registered the blade to your throat faster than his voice.

Your thoughts were scrambled. With him here, you were surely going to lose. August's body pressing against your back didn't help at calming yourself down.

"Please keep quiet!" You whispered, shaking. The bastard just hummed. You heard Playmate's steps right outside your hiding spot.

"But I've got sooo much to tell you." He leaned to your ear. "And my ear is a bit stuffy, so I'll have to-"

Maybe due to the panic, you'll never know, but you grabbed a strand of his hair and pulled his face to yours, sealing that chatty mouth with a clumsy kiss. From the corner of your eye, you saw as the mask demon left, puzzled and getting more irritated. Relief washed over you, and you let go of August.

However, to the shadow man this was far from over. He dropped his knife, it landed on soft grass, and used that free hand to push your head back into his lips. Seems like you got yourself from one problem into another...

And so, as Playmate tried his best to track you down, his little minion pinned you down into the ground and played with you to his heart's content.

Once the time was up, Playmate called out to you, obviously annoyed at the fact that you had slipped away from his eternal grasp. Oh well, better luck next time!

You knew he surely noticed your messy state. You tried your best to at least dust yourself off.

"So then, human..." He grumbled, arms crossed in front of his chest. "What is your wish?"

"I want you to officiate something." You said without hesitation.

"Officiate?" He repeated, you nodded. "Don't you have a clerk in the village?"

"Call August, and I'll go into more detail from there."

Not even a second later, you felt a large hand grab your shoulder.

"Missed me that much?" He snickered. You rolled your eyes.

"Listen here, you big mouthed demon." You turned to him. His smug face was demanding you to punch him. "I have a challange for you."

The two terrors fell quiet at your words.

"Wow." Playmate spoke up. "You are pretty eager to get yourself killed today, aren't you?" August shot him a confused look, before facing you again.

"I'm all ears!"

A rather wide grin cracked over your face.

"It's simple really." You began. "Tomorrow, from sun rise until the next, you're not to touch me. Not even your finger nail can brush against me."

August blinked, intrigued. "Schatz, do you think I'm some touch-starved pervert? This is going to be... how do you say it..."

You raised a finger. "Oh, I have more planned for you, Mister." You saw his eyes twinkle. "You're also not allowed to... well...." You awkwardly looked at Playmate. Even with the mask on, you could tell he looked annoyed.

"Is it dirty?" Your nod got a tired sigh out of him. "Say it. I've heard worse sounds coming from this old hag when he's all alone." He pointed to August, who was obviously not happy at the call out. Even so, he didn't retailate.

"So..." You continued. "You're also not allowed to please yourself, nor can you... release."

Playmate groaned. "It sounds worse like this somehow."

August scratched his chin. "And what do I get if I win?" You sighed.

"You'll be free to do whatever you want with me for a whole day."

That didn't seem to grab his interest. "Make it a whole week." Your patience was running so thin with this man, it could break at the touch of a feather. Begrudgingly, you agreed.

"But if you lose, I'll be free to do whatever I want with you for a week."

He clicked his tongue. "For one day." You were for sure going to skin him first things first. Eventually, you could agreed that the winner gets 3 days to freely toy with the loser.

"I see now!" Playmate cheered. "You wanted me to bind your souls with a contract, right?"

August looked up at Playmate, suddenly scared. "What?"

You shot him a smug look. "Oh yeah, I asked him to help with this agreement. Just to make sure we both do what we agreed to. Only seems fair~"

The look on August's face greatly amused you. He huffed.

"You think of everything, huh?"

"Scared?" You stepped closer to him. His grin remained.

With one confident hand shake, the deal was made.

Later that night, August made sure get a fill of you before he'd have to suffer through 24 hours without your touch.
