Wow. Tumblr really does have a funny way of going about this topic. Amazing.
Looks like I better provide the wares now. Even if I wasn't in my very far-east NZ time zone, I'm more than a day late.
So, I used to be on The Minecraft Forums a lot. They really did just have that simple of a website/property name. And I was kind of a prick on that forum back then, but remember, this was before all the MCF censorship. People were frequently seen to be crass, cold, or swearing, even though there were rules. Minecraft was an adult's game. I was not yet 18 at the time.
One thread that I'll never forget was of a thing I miss being common and mainstream on the web. A "photoshop things" picture-off. In this case, it was something like Photoshop Ghasts Into Photos.
People were having fun, taking the somewhat cruddy Minecraft Ghast cutout template provided by OP and putting it in things, many of which I can't remember. Somebody even put a Ghast or two in front of the Hindenburg disaster.
So, being pretty Kiwi and non-sensitive to 9/11 stuff, I went ahead and posted this.
I think this effectively derailed the thread for good. Things went from however they were before to "Alright kid above me ruined it" and "I guess the Hindenburg one wasn't offensive because the people in it were German". Not merely because it's old, the thread is locked now.
Before it fell out of use, I was blessed with a parting shot. Somebody else vindicated me by reprising my move, posting a "photoshop" of their own that I will never forget.
