Donkey being Epel's BFF as they have a shouta (or Loli/souta in Donkey's case) appearance, being small and considered fragile. But Donkey taught Epel that they don't need huge muscles to be strong, being small helps to be agile and combining with martial arts that use the opponent's strength against them is the perfect combination. Donkey proved this by tossing a bully taller than the Tweels like a rag doll. Now Epel is calling Yue "master"/"sensei" to learn these combat techniques.
