What's your blog title from? Owl house!!!! said by hooty in ep 1, love that lil guy
What movie have you watched most recently? What did you think of it? Matilda!! right in the childhood man, I used to try moving things with my mind after watching it
What are you looking forward to right now? Meeting internet friends this week irl!!
If you could do anything at all today what would it be? Make it stop being so damn hot
What's your drink of choice? (coffee/tea order, alcohol of choice, soda, ect.) chai every single time, although if that’s not around a hot tea in winter or a passionfruit juice in summer will do the trick
What's your hair routine? Anything special? Um not really, shampoo and conditioner when it gets greasy? Maybe a dry shampoo for texture in between?
What's your favorite way to travel? Is there a mode of travel you haven't done that you that you want to? Trainnnnnn, I love the train. I miss the metro when I lived in the city. But I took a tram this weekend and that was friggen awesome. It was one of those accordion kinda things so if you sat in the front you could watch the back move like a snake 10/10
Favorite month and why? October, not too hot, not too cold, the leaves are cool colors and witches come out. Good times.
Favorite time of day and why? Night time, I like stars and quiet.
Do you play or follow any sports? Hockey!!!!!!!!!!!! insufferable caps fan since 2009. I used to watch games alone as a kid on a tiny tv in our basement like an absolute creep but I had such a great time.
What kind of music is stuck in your head a lot lately? Anything Sleep token and noah kahan’s new album, shhhh its for fic writing purposes
Dishes or laundry? Laundry, love folding laundry, I have a system. Dishes are slimy no thank you
What's something you learned recently? How to order a baguette in german! (i’m cheating slightly since baguette is french lol)
If you could give a TED talk on anything, what would you talk about? Christian nationalism in the United States, it’s one of my weird rabbithole topics where I go read the books and watch all the documentaries I can get my hands, even as a non Christian it’s always wild to me looking back how much influence that specific “brand” of American Christianity had on my life and my childhood, the more you learn the insaner it gets. It used to make me mad. Now I’m just tired.
What's a piece of advice you find yourself giving a lot? Sometimes, when people passing through your life offer you off hand weird advice or say something mean about you, very often they’re not talking about you. They’re projecting something they don’t like about themselves, it’s the only way in that moment they know how to deal with that feeling. Knowing that, it’s made it easier to brush things off from people who really don’t know you.
What's a piece of advice you would give yourself five years ago? Go out, enjoy the city you live in, you might not be there forever, you won’t be 25 forever and it will never be the same.
Do you believe in luck and superstition? Do you carry any lucky items or follow any? Luck, maybe a little? I remember this DS9 episode about luck, someone changing the way certain particles spun changing people’s luck, and if luck exists at all, I like to think maybe it might be a little like that. I do knock on wood, sometimes I carry an myths worry stone and I have a couple practices I do on occasion but nothing crazy.
Are you musical (play any instruments or sing)? Would you ever perform for an audience? I used to play violin but not anymore. Probably wouldn’t perform again. Not really my jam.
Write, type, or speak? Write always.
What do you wish someone would ask you? Online, probably about my writing, ocs, wips, fav tropes, fav fictions blorbos, anything, I trust u guys we’re all lovely weirdos together. In person dear god don’t ask about writing, I’ll melt into a puddle, ask me about one of my partner or friends’ weird work stories instead, like the bathroom couple.
Tagging @an0neemouse, @william-shakesfeare, @tamquamm-alter-idem and @oncominggstorm only if you want to:))
