so I'm trying to get back into writing, but I can't do it at home because too many distraction, reminders, memories, responsibilities, STRESS... I decided to start going to the library every week. Quiet, no reminders, it's a 3rd space seperate from life. I decided to bring my headphones to listen to calming, relaxing music. Today was the first day I was gonna go... and they were closed for cleaning. :(
So I went to the café and sat upstairs, all alone, with my headphones on, and got a page & a half done. And yeah, that doesn't sound like a lot considering I was there for an hour & a half, but for someone who hasn't written anything in, like, a year, that's fucking great. Especially since I haven't written anything for that particular wip in 2 years at least!
Anyway, I'm proud of myself. Still gonna try going to the library again next week.
